Local SEO for Louisville-Area Small Businesses
Google Business Profile, reviews, on-site optimization, and local citations — the practical local SEO we manage in-house.
If customers search for you in Greater Louisville or Oldham County and find a weak listing, outdated pages, or a competitor ahead of you, that’s a local SEO problem.
We fix the parts that move map pack and organic visibility for churches, salons, service businesses, and other small organizations — without selling a default backlink program.
Who This is For
- You already have a WordPress site (or you’re building one with us) and want to be found for local searches
- Your Google Business Profile is incomplete, inconsistent, or barely reviewed
- Blog posts or service pages exist but don’t connect to how people actually search
- You want a clear monthly retainer — not a black-box “SEO agency” package
- You’re a trust-and-referral professional (advisor, attorney, consultant) and need to look credible when someone Googles you after an intro.
Not a fit: National SEO campaigns, guaranteed #1 rankings, or link-building as the primary strategy.
Prerequisite
We build Local SEO for sites that aren’t drifting. Most clients are on Website Support ($199/mo) — updates, backups, form reliability — or an equivalent maintenance agreement before we add Lite or Active.
What’s Included
Local SEO at Beacon Web is hands-on work on your presence, not a vendor pass-through.
- Google Business Profile — categories, services, photos, posts, and consistency with your site
- Reviews — a practical ask-and-respond workflow so social proof grows over time
- On-site / on-page — titles, meta, headings, service and location pages that match real queries
- Local citations & NAP — NAP (name, address, phone) consistent across key directories so Google and referrers see the same business everywhere
- Technical basics — crawl/index issues, SmartCrawl hygiene, and fixes that unblock visibility
- Clear reporting — plain-English summary of what changed and what to watch (not a 40-slide deck)
Retainers & add-on
Pricing scales with scope. The exact range depends on locations, competition, and how much on-site work is needed. We’ll confirm on a short call.
Local SEO — Lite
$125–$175/mo
One location, solid site foundation, focus on GBP + reviews + light on-page
Local SEO — Active
$200-$350/mo
Stronger competition · multiple service pages · quarterly authority included · broader citations and on-page work
Quarterly Authority
$100/mo (or $300/quarter)
Bolt-on to Lite when you want ranking depth over time — one SEO-briefed article per quarter, client-approved, published on your site
Local SEO — Lite runs in two phases at the same monthly fee:
- Foundation (months 1–3): GBP optimization, NAP cleanup on key directories, on-page pass on your most important pages
- Steady state (month 4+): monthly GBP post, review monitoring/responses, listings re-check, page tune-ups when something changes — not endless rewrites on a small site
Quarterly Authority is the layer that gives you a chance to climb in search over time — Lite keeps you trustworthy when people already know your name; authority posts add freshness, depth, and long-tail topics Google can index. It’s slow work, not a lead-count guarantee.
Vendor backlink programs are not on the standard menu. If a competitive B2B case needs them later, that’s a separate written SOW — not the default Local SEO retainer.
